October’s PlayStation Plus Catalog Is One Of The Service’s Best Months In A Long Time

The cool breeze and pumpkins everywhere I look mean we are in the middle of the spooky season, aka October. However, this month’s selection of games coming to PlayStation Plus’ games catalog isn’t very scary at all. Unless you are scared of good games.

On October 14, PlayStation officially announced the next round of PS Plus Extra and Premium games that will be added to the subscription service’s game catalog. Take note that not all of these games will be available starting today. We’ve added the dates to the list below to help you plan your gaming schedule.

The only slightly scary or creepy games included in this month’s additions are The Midnight Walk, Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, and Dino Crisis 2. And while I wish spooky season brought with it more genuinely scary games, I’ll take what I can get, and these are fine additions to the catalog. Besides the creepy games, PS Plus subscribers are also soon getting access to the fantastic semi-open world crime game Mafia: The Old Country

and co-op looter-shooter Mycopunk , which has been a big hit on PC.

Remember, to access, download, and play these PlayStation games, you’ll need to be an active PS Plus Extra- or Premium-tier subscriber. Essential tier subscribers don’t get access to the game catalog. And if your subscription runs out in the future, you’ll no longer be able to play these games until you resubscribe.

Anyway, here’s the full list of games being added to PS Plus and when they will be available in the United States to download:
